Liversedge FC 100 Club Terms & Conditions – 1/10/2023

Liversedge FC 100 Club is a lottery to provide additional monies to fund the activities of Liversedge FC.
Payment of the monthly entry fee is taken as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Promoter
a. The Liversedge FC Committee promotes the lottery. Address: Leading Edge Clayborn Ground, Quaker Lane,
Liversedge WF15 8DF
b. The promoter’s decision in all matters is final
c. These terms and conditions may be updated at any time by the promoter

2. Licence
a. Registered with Kirklees Council as a Small Society Lottery under the Gambling Act 2005

3. Eligibility
a. All players must be aged 18 or over and have a UK address
b. Entries are accepted from a named individual only
c. The promoter may decline or withdraw entry to any person who they feel is detrimental to the good standing of the
draw and club – this includes but is not limited to, individuals banned from attending football matches, fraud or other
criminal convictions (past or present), revocation of club membership on disciplinary grounds.

4. Entries
a. Entry to the draw is £10 per number
b. There is a minimum requirement for each entrant to take one number
c. There is no maximum limit on the number of entries
d. Payment must be made by standing order to the nominated account on the 1st of each
calendar month
e. Payment by cash or cheque is available by arrangement, but the promoter reserves the right to request an advance
payment for several draws to prevent unnecessary extra administration
f. Entries not fully paid up by the 10th of each calendar month will not be eligible for the draw
g. Payments received on or after the 11th of each month will be included in the following month’s draw
h. Entrants can withdraw from the lottery at any time. No holidays or deferments are available

5. Numbers
a. Players can select their preferred number if available, or promoter can assign randomly
b. If numbers are or become available, an entrant may request a change to another available number
c. Number changes are limited to one per person per quarter
d. New entrants will be assigned numbers as they are available

6. The Draw
a. To allow for checking of entries, the draw will take place on or soon after the 25th of each calendar month.
b. The draw will be made in the presence of a minimum of three members of the Liversedge FC club committee or
club membership
c. The promoter will endeavour to conduct the draw in public at a Liversedge FC match day, but this may not be possible
d. One number will be drawn at random from the confirmed entries as the monthly prize winner
e. If an unassigned number is drawn, the draw will continue until a valid number is drawn
f. The first draw will be in October 2023

7. Prize/winner
a. The holder of the number drawn first will win £250
b. If fewer than 100 entries are received, the prize fund will be reduced to 25% of the total proceeds, with a maximum
prize capped at £250.
c. If more than 100 entries are received, the promoter will revise the prize fund and distribution, and this will be notified by
adjusting these terms and conditions
d. The winner will be paid within 14 days of the draw by direct bank transfer or cheque. Payment will only be made to
and in the name of the named entrant
e. The draw will be publicised on the Liversedge FC website, social media and programme. All entrants consent to
their name and surname being released in such communications in the event of winning
f. Any unclaimed prizes, after six months, will be donated to Liversedge FC

8. End of Season Draw
a. An additional draw will be held in May. This will be made at the same time as the regular May
draw. (See Point e for Season 2023/24)
b. Only entrants with a minimum of 12 months of continuous payments will be eligible for the draw. No extra payment is
c. The promoter will determine the prize or prizes based on uptake of the lottery, and the promoter will publicise this to all entrants. [It is anticipated the prize will be £500]
d. All other terms and conditions also apply to the End of Season Bonus Draw
e. For 2023/24 only, only entrants with eight months of continuous payments will be eligible.
